Short Range Certificate (SRC)

This 6-hour training course on advanced VHF use prepares you for the Short Range Certificate (SRC) exam organized by the ANFR, but above all allows you to handle and practice various scenarios on board Alwena using fixed and portable VHF in near-real conditions.

Please note that sailors navigating abroad must hold this certificate. In French territorial waters, a coastal or offshore boating license is required to use a fixed or portable DSC VHF, or the SRC.

Finally, the SRC allows you to use a VHF radio at sea and on inland waterways.
