Mol\u00e8ne Island and its archipelago<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The archipelago consists of 19 islands and islets, of which only Mol\u00e8ne and Qu\u00e9m\u00e9n\u00e8s are inhabited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is characterized by its extraordinary biological diversity, preserved and protected by various programs: Natura 2000, the Iroise National Nature Reserve, and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Sein Island<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The island is characterized by exceptional environments and landscapes that have earned it a place among the “most beautiful villages in France,” as well as a unique history during WWII.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its tranquility, narrow streets, beaches, and pebble ridges guarantee a total change of scenery. The 360\u00b0 view from the Goulenez lighthouse over the ocean, the island, and its causeway is a must-see. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For experienced kayakers, an excursion to the Ar Men lighthouse is possible.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Aber Ildut<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Aber Ildut is the smallest of the three “abers” (estuaries) in the Iroise Sea, but this small fishing port and Europe’s leading seaweed port has incredible charm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recognized as a natural area of ecological, faunal, and floral interest, the location offers beautiful hikes along the coast and inland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aber Benoit<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The aber offers the possibility of hiking in the heart of nature on heavily wooded and uncrowded paths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beautiful fine sand beaches line its mouth to the south and west. The sunset is unforgettable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the culinary side, seafood and excellent mussels are farmed offshore, and oysters are matured in the gentle river waters for an exceptional dinner with a view of the oyster beds.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Aber Wrac’h<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The largest aber in Finist\u00e8re can be explored by kayak, navigating between the islands and islets on the sea side, or by wandering on land. The landscapes change dramatically with the tides. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heading upstream, nature is peaceful and lush. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
